Process images automatically when they are added to Google Drive

Step 1: Set Up Google Drive

  1. Create a folder in Google Drive for your images
  2. Right-click the folder and select "Share"
  3. Change permission to "Anyone with the link can view"

The folder must be set to "Anyone with the link can view" for Zapier to access the files

Step 2: Configure Zapier Trigger

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap
  2. Choose "Google Drive" as your trigger app
  3. Select "New File in Folder" as your trigger event
  4. Connect your Google Drive account if not already connected
  5. Select the folder you created and shared
  6. Test the trigger with a sample file

Step 3: Set Up ImageTools Hub Action

  1. Add a new action step
  2. Choose "ImageTools Hub" as your action app
  3. Select "Upscale Image" or your desired action
  4. Configure the action settings:
    • Image URL: Use the Web Content Link
  5. Test the action to ensure it works

Make sure to use the Web Content Link from Google Drive, which typically ends with "?export=download"

Step 1: Configure ImageTools Hub Trigger

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap
  2. Choose "ImageTools Hub" as your trigger app
  3. Select "Task Completed" as your trigger event
  4. Connect your ImageTools Hub account using your API key
  5. Test the trigger to ensure it works

Step 2: Set Up Google Drive Action

  1. Add a new action step
  2. Choose "Google Drive" as your action app
  3. Select "Upload File" as the action
  4. Connect your Google Drive account
  5. Configure the upload settings:
    • Folder: Select your destination folder (or create a new one)
    • File: Use the output URL from ImageTools Hub
    • File Name: Use the ID from ImageTools Hub as the file name (recommended for unique identification)
    • File Extension: Select the file extension from ImageTools Hub
